TEAMS / LEARNING ON THE JOB
After the workshop,
what will the team be able to do?
An impressive demonstration is not enough to create a practice. Useful training ends with a task the participants know how to do again in their own environment.

Choose a deliverable before the tool
Ask for an example of the expected result: a support reply, a comparison of proposals or a usable report. Describe who it is for, the information needed and the errors that would force it to be redone. This goal makes it possible to adapt the exercise to the roles and the starting level.
Fictional example: a team prepares a summary of maintenance requests every week. The workshop aims at a summary with references, unresolved points and a next action. It does not aim to teach every function of an assistant.
Have participants work on two cases
Prepare one ordinary case and one ambiguous case, either fictional or authorized. Participants first produce an output, then compare it with shared criteria. A pair can swap results: does the person who did not lead the conversation understand the sources and the caveats?
Then show how to improve the context and the instruction. Replay the difficult case to check what the change really solves. The exercise should also teach people to recognize that information is missing, to go back to the document and to finish a step manually when necessary.
Leave a small reusable set
Keep a task sheet, a sample input, an adaptable instruction and an annotated output. Add where to hand over the result and the points to review. This material should live in an authorized shared space, without depending on the trainer’s private history.
Participants work with the accounts and features actually available. If a connection to a business system does not exist, the exercise uses an agreed export; it does not suggest that the training has delivered a technical integration.
Check that the work can be picked up after the workshop
The next time the task comes up, one person goes through the workflow again using the material that was kept. Note what is missing: an inaccessible source, business vocabulary or a correction that is hard to make. Name who maintains the example when the procedure changes. The next step may be an adjustment to the material, a further workshop or a connection to the software, depending on the problem observed.
