Computing, on your side
A model can run on your machine, without sending your documents outside. For a small team, we recommend a machine from our list: you buy it yourself, with no commission, and we install it. For a focused task, a simple laptop is sometimes enough: we ran a small open model on a 2021 laptop, with no graphics card and no internet.
Your files, kept apart
Your files are stored in a separate part of the machine. You can access them even without going through our interface. They remain yours, during the contract and after: if it ends, your installation keeps running and documentation explains how to remove our system while keeping your files.
What leaves, you decide
A frontier cloud model is sometimes the best tool for a task. With the Saphan router, it is called only for the tasks you give it, using your own account with its provider; the rest of the work stays on your machine. Each provider’s rules apply to what you send it.
An airlock for what comes in
A file that comes from outside first goes through an airlock: it waits separately, its origin is noted, then it comes in. This is how we work in-house; for you, this airlock is in preparation.
